Creator outreach verification
Yes — team@creator.playxlab.com is a real PLAYLAB email address.
If you received a message from team@creator.playxlab.com inviting you to a product gifting campaign, it came from our creator team. It is not a scam, and you are not being asked for money.
PLAYLAB is a Seoul-based creator marketing company. We send free products from beauty and consumer brands to creators whose content fits the brand — no fee, no purchase, nothing to pay.
The one rule that settles it
Genuine PLAYLAB email always ends in @creator.playxlab.com or @playxlab.com. Anything else — including near-identical lookalike domains and free Gmail or Outlook accounts — is not us.

Official PLAYLAB email addresses
These are the only addresses our team contacts creators and brands from.
team@creator.playxlab.com
Creator outreach. Gifting invitations, campaign briefs, shipping coordination and follow-ups with creators. This is the address most creators hear from first — and the one to write to with any question, including checking whether a message claiming to be from PLAYLAB is genuine.
team@playxlab.com
General and brand inquiries. If you're a creator, use the address above instead — it reaches the team that works with creators every day.
playxlab.com
Our only official website. creator.playxlab.com is our own subdomain, used for creator-facing tools and outreach.
Individual teammates may write to you from their own name at one of these two domains (for example firstname@playxlab.com). What matters is the part after the @ — if the domain isn't exactly creator.playxlab.com or playxlab.com, it isn't PLAYLAB.
Who PLAYLAB is
A registered company in Seoul, South Korea, working with beauty and consumer brands on global TikTok creator campaigns.
PLAYLAB builds and maintains a dataset of 1,300,000+ global TikTok creators. Brands come to us to find creators whose audience genuinely matches their product; we handle the outreach, the shipping and the campaign. We run 1,000+ creator collaborations a month across markets including the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe.
Most of our campaigns are gifting campaigns: the brand sends you the product for free, and you decide whether to post about it. You are never asked to buy anything.

How to tell a real invitation from a scam
Fake "brand deal" emails are common, and some of them copy real agencies. Here is exactly what we do and don't do, so you can check any message against it — ours or anyone else's.
A real PLAYLAB message
- Comes from @creator.playxlab.com or @playxlab.com
- Names the specific brand and product you'd receive
- Offers the product free of charge, with no fee of any kind
- Asks only for shipping details: name, address, courier phone number, and your social handle
- Lets you say no, or stop replying, with no penalty
- Links only to playxlab.com or well-known services (Google Forms, TikTok, courier tracking)
Never PLAYLAB — treat as a scam
- Asks you to pay anything — a sample fee, shipping, customs deposit or "membership"
- Asks for your password, login link, or a two-factor / verification code
- Asks for bank details, card numbers, crypto wallets, or a copy of your ID
- Sends a .zip, .exe, .scr or password-protected file as a "brief", "contract" or "product catalog"
- Sends money first and asks you to refund part of it
- Pressures you to reply "within 24 hours or the offer is gone"
- Comes from a lookalike domain such as playxlabs.com, play-xlab.com, playxlab.co or playxlab-team.com
Check the domain character by character
The most common trick is a domain that reads correctly at a glance. Open the sender's full email address — not the display name, which anyone can set to "PLAYLAB" — and compare it letter by letter against creator.playxlab.com. An extra letter, a hyphen, a swapped l for I, or a different ending like .co instead of .com means it is not us.
Questions creators ask us
Is team@creator.playxlab.com a real email address?
Yes. It's an official PLAYLAB address, used by our creator team to invite creators to product gifting campaigns. creator.playxlab.com is a subdomain of playxlab.com, this website.
Is this email a scam?
Not if it came from @creator.playxlab.com or @playxlab.com — those are ours. If it came from any other domain, it isn't from PLAYLAB, whatever the message says. And whoever it claims to be from: we never ask creators to pay a fee, never ask for passwords or verification codes, and never ask for bank or crypto details.
Why did PLAYLAB contact me?
We run gifting campaigns for beauty and consumer brands. Our team looks for creators whose content and audience fit a specific brand, then invites them to receive the product for free. You were contacted because your profile matched a campaign we're currently running — not because of anything you signed up for.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. There is no application fee, shipping fee, sample fee or deposit — ever. If someone claiming to be PLAYLAB asks you for money, it isn't us.
What information will you ask me for?
Only what a courier needs to deliver a package: your name, shipping address, a phone number for delivery, and your social handle. We will never ask for your account password, a login or two-factor code, your bank account or card number, a crypto wallet, or a photo of your ID.
Am I obligated to post?
The specific terms are always written in the invitation itself — read that message, since it's what actually applies. If anything in it is unclear, reply and ask before you agree. You can also simply decline, or not reply at all.
I got a message from a different address claiming to be PLAYLAB
Treat it as suspicious and don't send any personal details. Forward it to team@creator.playxlab.com and we'll confirm whether it came from our team.
How do I stop receiving emails from you?
Our emails have an unsubscribe link at the bottom — click it and you're removed from our outreach list straight away. No reply needed, and we won't contact you again.
Still not sure? Just ask us.
Forward the message you received and we'll tell you whether it came from our team. We'd rather answer a hundred of these than have one creator get scammed by someone using our name.
Email team@creator.playxlab.comWe reply in English and Korean, usually within one business day.
